Rusty Keeler
Rusty Keeler is a natural playscape designer and author who for nearly 30 years has traveled the world designing outdoor play environments and speaking about the benefits and beauty of saying “yes” to children’s play. Described as a cross between Mr. Rogers and Jerry Garcia, Rusty was pivotal in the design and creation of the new Nature to Play™ collection exclusively from Kaplan Early Learning Company. He is also the author of multiple books on play and playscapes including Seasons of Play: Natural Environments of Wonder and the newly published Adventures in Risky Play: What is Your Yes? Additionally, Rusty is a co-founder of a social justice initiative called the Just Play Project in Ithaca, New York which works to support all children’s rights to play.
